London fasten your seat belt, MyHelpster has been accepted to the Sirius Programme. An initiative by UK Trade and Investment encouraging promising startups from abroad to launch their business in the UK.
MyHelpster has been looking for investment programmes and accelerator opportunities, when its attention got caught by the very well-known Sirius Programme in London.
In the last couple of months, consequently, the MyHepster team went through a rigorous selection process competing against more than 2,800 applicants from all over the world, all with the same aim: To join the one-year accelerator programme. Once, our team got the unbelievable invitation to join this high-speed train for opportunity, MyHelpster was more than excited to pack its things moving from Manchester to the capital.
The participation in the Sirius Programme will connect us with a great network of experts from around the world. Moreover, the government programme will provide us a grant worth £28.000 and office space right in the heart of London at the Innovation Warehouse. This support will give us the financial security to take MyHelpster to the next level.
The first step of the one-year programme, is the twelve-week intense boot-camp at the Accelerator Academy in the London Innovation Warehouse, which helps us to shape our value proposition and further improve our product-market fit. The Accelerator Academy is a high growth training and mentoring programme that has helped already more than 70 startups to seek investment. The weekly workshops and meetings with our mentors are not only very exciting and interesting, but are helping us to get investment-ready. We are more than proud to join this promising group of UK startups and we are looking forward to the next couple of months.
We are very happy about the support and excited about the coming months! The feedback from our mentors and fellow entrepreneurs has already given us a lot food for thoughts. So stay tuned for what’s coming next.
